One wild night to explore the sights and sounds of Peru whilst supporting the rights of indigenous young people in the Andes and the Amazon!
Featuring the dancefloor-filling rhythms of live Peruvian cumbia band Los Chichanos, let's celebrate Peruvian culture from the Andes and the Amazon whilst supporting the charity Amantani, who provide educational opportunities for Quechua-speaking and Amazonian youth in rural areas of Peru.
In the immersive Esquina Andina, learn about life growing up in the Andes through Amantanis participatory short film project and take home a beautiful handwoven bracelet from indigenous Quechua artisans. Then move your body through the jungle on the Selva stage where Los Chichanos will ignite the space with a fiery fiesta of live music - dance to mesmerising melodies of huayno music, classic chicha songs from Lima and play amongst rainforest fauna in the grand vintage hits of cumbia amazonica!
This is one for the lovers of tropical parties, dance music, and all things PERU, so come along to this one wild night of Peruvian cumbia for a great Peruvian cause. Ticket sales will support Amantani's impactful youth programmes and the expansion of their Amazon Youth Project.
Due to this event being in the dark depths of a jungle (cellar), this downstairs venue is unfortunately not well suited for people with limited mobility or wheelchair users.

About Amantani
Established in 2008, Amantani works to defend the rights of indigenous young people from rural areas of Peru. The charity enables young people from marginalised families in the Andes and Amazon regions to access education, stimulating social development whilst encouraging autonomy and cultural pride. In 2022, they launched the Amazon Youth project, which offers full scholarships for further education to young people from remote villages in the Amazon region and preparation programmes.
