A chance for young performers and theatre-makers to develop their skills and techniques. Build confidence, creativity and communication while exploring various aspects of performance-making.

Youth Theatre for S1 – S4

Youth Theatre will develop our skills and techniques as young performers and theatre-makers. We will build on confidence, creativity, and communication while exploring various aspects of performance-making. As well as having the opportunity to work from published plays, we will also get a chance to explore the process of devising a performance from scratch. The Youth Theatre will provide opportunities for creative writing and will also begin to look at script and character analysis. Throughout these areas, we will expand on our acting, performance, and improvisational skills.

There will also be an opportunity to work towards and end-of-term performance/sharing of work.

Youth Theatre sessions take place in the Drum Room off the cafe bar.
