Angus Grill + Larder is a contemporary café serving local food and great coffee, to sit in or take away. You'll also find a children's play area and a secure doggy paddock. Look for the AG+L sign on the A90, 3 miles South of Brechin.

Angus Grill + Larder is independently owned and sits on the A90, 3 miles south of Brechin. You'll find great tasting food, and hot & cold drinks showcasing as many local producers ingredients as we can find, in a friendly relaxed environment.

When you pull in you'll see there's a secure doggy paddock so you can let your four-legged friends out of the car to let off steam. Inside there's lots of seating and a play area to amuse your little ones. The toilets are worth a stop in their own right - 3 local artists decorated them and they each represent one of the nearby towns. There's seating outside, too, and a fire pit. (optional marshmallows available).

The menu features burgers and hot dogs, made by our local butcher in Brechin, as well as salads and sides, too. There's a show stopping breakfast for early birds, The Muckle Grill as well as lighter options and our coffee is served with fudge made almost next door. In the cake cabinet there's delicious cakes and tray-bakes and do not miss our amazing cheesecakes.

Once you've enjoyed some food, from our grill menu, take a moment longer to browse the shelves of our Larder, which are stacked with locally made produce and gifts, as well as some of our team’s favourite products from elsewhere in Scotland.

If you're short on time, order ahead via the app on our website and we'll have your food ready to pick up when you pull in.
