Our story may start in 2019, but the Caledonian Canal has been connecting Scotland for over 200 years.
The canal was constructed in the early nineteenth century by Scottish engineer Thomas Telford, a visionary for whom the region inspired great engineering and design.
One hundred years later, Dochgarroch Hall, the very building that houses An Talla today, was built. Serving as a community hub for decades since, An Talla is paving the way for a new generation to experience Loch Ness and the historic Dochfour Estate.
Thomas Telford’s legacy is woven throughout An Talla. From exclusive Scottish-made textiles inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the Highlands to a locally sourced menu infused with passion – whatever you choose to indulge in, An Talla will leave an impression that lasts long after you’ve left.
