Everything is cooked on the premises by chef/patron Fabrice Bouteloup; his menus cleverly incorporate French and Italian ideas with Scottish game and seafood. There is an excellent selection of wines and spirits and friendly attentive service.
There is also a small lounge for guests to enjoy a drink by the open fire, before or after their meal. A former coaching inn, situated in a pretty village, not far from the market town of Crieff, the building is full of character. The restaurant features stone walls and a wood burning stove. There are 6 comfortable rooms for those who like a weekend in the countryside and Perthshire certainly has plenty to offer.
