A family-run farm shop and cafe just off the B9170 in-between Inverurie and Oldmeldrum. Open daily for breakfast, lunches, coffee, cakes and ice cream!

We pride ourselves on creating delicious savoury and sweet creations using the best of local and seasonal produce where possible.

Our awesome ice-cream is a source of happiness and our top seller. You decide which combination of fruity flavours you'd like to enjoy, we blend it fresh with Mackie's ice cream and we promise it will be worth the wait and the journey out.

We also stock a range of products from local producers and suppliers for you to cook and create at home.

Our shop is located next to Barra Castle. Which is also home to The Barn @ Barra Castle, The Lodges @ Barra Castle and is on the site of the Battle of Barra, where Robert the Bruce defeated John Comyn, 3rd Earl of Buchan (1308).
