The Smoked Thistle was born out of two friends and a passion for local produce and BBQ food, influenced by the Southern states of America. We passionately believe in supporting our local food producers, focussing on a sustainable business model whilst showcasing the very best Scotland has to offer in turn supporting our local communities.
All of our food is made in house, we use a custom-built offset Smoker that exclusively burns responsibly sourced Scottish Oak. Smoked low and slow for up to 16 hours, a taste unrivalled this side of the Atlantic. Our famous burgers are made in house from a recipe developed on the charcoals of rainy Scottish Barbeques for over 10 years.
