We are situated on the A711, Solway coast road between Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright, opposite the old Cistercian Abbey in the small rural village of Dundrennan. Nestled amid some of the most beautifully stunning countryside. We are a small, family run cafe which is very popular with locals and tourists alike. We offer a varied menu that we hope has something for everyone to enjoy. Our cakes are all homemade, we try to source all of the produce on our menu locally.
The Crown and Anchor was the local village pub, my husband and I have completely renovated the building, retaining as many of its original features as possible. It is now a small tearoom, serving great locally sourced food and delicious home baking.

The cafe is cosy with stunning views over Fagra Hill, and Dundrennan Abbey. We have a small parking area next to the tearooms. Although we only allow assistance dogs inside the tearooms, we have an outdoor eating area for our dog walking friend.
longside the tearooms we have two kingsize/twin ensuite bed and breakfast rooms, perfect for a relaxing break in some of the most beautiful countryside in the Sothwest of Scotland. Find out more B&B information
