Home Bakery and Bake Hoose Cafe, serving delicious traditional freshly baked goods and home cooked meals, all made on site in our very own bakery by experienced bakers.

The Home Bakery Macduff opened late 2018 under new ownership, after major refurbishments to carry on a near century old tradition. This transpired after a local businessman wanted to help revive and give something back to the community he grew up in. As well as providing the community with somewhere to buy fresh bakery items, it now also provides somewhere to sit and enjoy them in the "Bake Hoose Café".
The bakery produces over eight varieties of bread, local favourites revived from well-loved recipes such as butteries, Gamrie knotties and rankies as well as some Polish items. In addition to the delicious bakery items, the cafe also sells homemade soup, all-day breakfasts, sandwiches, light meals such as stovies, freshly brewed local coffee and many, many more...
All items and celebration cakes are available to order.
