In 2015, L’escargot blanc was awarded a prestigious Taste Our Best award from VisitScotland, which ensures diners that they will eat high quality ingredients of Scottish provenance and the freshest seasonal produce. Our Chef Proprietor Fred Berkmiller buys whole animal carcasses to cook with as this gives him the opportunity to use every single part of the animal without any waste. In turn, this also supports local suppliers and helps everyone to become more sustainable
