Our Menus are based on everything local, and we pride ourselves on using produce straight from the sea or land to your plate. Local crab, langoustines, scallops, mussels and oysters all feature regularly on the Lochside’s summer menus, alongside halibut from the neighbouring island of Gigha, prime steaks, racks and shanks of lamb, as well as old favourites like fish and chips and Steak and Islay Ale pie.
Our dining conservatory offers some of the best views on Islay, overlooking Bowmore’s picturesque harbour and Loch Indaal. We also offer a fabulous selection of local and rare whisky, Islay ales on draught and a stunning wine list to suit all pallets.
From full Scottish breakfasts to dinners of Islay scallops washed down with a bottle of sauvignon blanc, the Lochside kitchen is open all day. Non-residents are welcome for breakfast, which is served from 7.30am until 9.30am. The lunch menu — featuring soups, sandwiches and snacks as well as more substantial fare — kicks in from 12 noon. Dinner is available from 5-9pm in the winter months and 5-10pm in the summer.

Bar opening hours are from 11am until 1am. Coffee and speciality hot drinks are served all day.
