Macgochans is a multi-award winning bar and restaurant situated in Tobermory. We have 2 exciting restaurants, a whisky bar with a wood burning stove and an extensive beer garden

Macgochans is now the heartbeat of Tobermory, offering top live music, local food, lazy afternoons and great craic!

Macgochans sits in the picturesque Tobermory harbour on the Island of Mull. Relaunched in February 2012 by Muileach Neil Morrison and uniquely designed by Ranold MacColl of Oban, Macgochans is looking to bring back and showcase the best of Island hospitality.

We have 4 custom built spaces for you to enjoy — The Restaurant Bar if you like to wine and dine in style, Bar-beag if you want to relax beside a peat burning fire with the finest of Scottish whiskies. The Function Suite for a real party with seating facilities for 90 or standing for 200. Last but not least is our Beer Garden that gets the sun all day long so guests can enjoy as time stands still in this tranquil Island setting.

We like to support ‘local’ here at Macgochans and you will see that from our menu of creel caught langoustines, Isle of Mull king scallops, Glengorm estate beef, Inverlussa mussels and wild venison sausages.

So sample and enjoy what we are so proud to have available to us on our own doorstep.

OPEN 7 DAYS. Summer - Breakfast 9am – 11am and Main Menu 11.30am – 10pm, Winter - Main Menu 11.30am - 9pm.
