Our speciality café / bistro serves ‘out of the ordinary' luxury light bites, so be prepared for something quite unique.
Our menu changes according to season, but, of course, at all times features dishes prepared from Marrbury Smoked Foods. A "Taste Our Best" Property - the menu is very visitor friendly offering a huge variety of foods cooked fresh to order. It is however NOT "just fish" - We offer chicken, duck, our own sausages, haggis, black pudding and our famous Smoked Brie supper with plum sauce dip is a dish (veggie or not) to die for! Home baking offers tasty desserts - Children are particularly catered for in style. Marrbury offers a fantastic "kiddies meal" option which gives the choice of chunks of our speciality fish battered - wiith chips (cooked in non trans fats) or our own smoked sausage - bite size chunks are wrapped in little kiddie friendly bags, placed in a fun box along with ketchup etc - Your childs choice of apple or orange juice carton - and a fantastic activty pack with crayons - a tray is provided so you may sit back, relax - and enjoy your meal whilst your little one has educational fun with our unique pack -
In summer - kids love the castle grounds - Dine outdoors - Whether you want to stop for a Latte - or bring the family for a full lunch or suppper - we at Marrbury pride ourselves in making all welcome at any time.
In summer, you will find delicious sandwiches and wraps with freshly prepared home deli salads as well as our amazing "Smoked N'Battered" "posh chip shop" style menu. We have superb brunches such as smoked salmon eggs benedict, as well as simple toasties such as smoked chicken with smoked cheddar in light mayo.
OPEN SEVEN DAYS 01671 820476 Please note - in winter we try to remain open seven days, but as we are in a tourist region - we can often operate on a skeleton staff basis in winter. If you are in a hurry, please inform staff on arrival and he/she will do their best to have your order ready promptly - We have a very small open kitchen -(you are welcome to say Hi to chef as you pass!) so please bear with us during busy periods.
