The ethos of the Mull and Iona Food Trail is straightforward: To promote locally sourced food, produced with respect for animal welfare and the environment, which tastes great and contributes to a sense of place.
The Mull and Iona Food Trail promotes island produce. We print a Map/Leaflet each year and have a website with 40 producers and suppliers of the wonderful foods produced locally - anything from the freshest shellfish straight from the clear waters around the islands to the award winning Isle of Mull Cheese, home made Haggis, beautifully grown vegetables and hand made chocolates - and everything in between!
We have a simple ethos: To promote locally sourced food, produced with respect for animal welfare and the environment, which tastes great and contributes to a sense of place.
Watch out for the Moveable Feasts - a series of food related events hosted by our listings each summer! Details on the website!
