Puldagon Farm Shop and Restaurant
We are a small family run Farm, Shop and Restaurant set in the beautiful Caithness countryside in the far North of Scotland. Located 3 miles from the town of Wick, we are just minutes off the North Coast 500 route.
In 2019 we transformed one of our old barns into a bright and modern Restaurant and Farm Shop, opening in August of that year, and despite the pandemic we have quickly become a favourite with locals and visitors alike!
Our upstairs dining area offers beautiful views out over our farm while the downstairs dining area and Farm Shop are fully wheelchair accessible. The downstairs dining area also benefits from glass screens between tables for extra shielding protection.
In our restaurant you'll find all your favourite cravings freshly prepared to order. From our Full Scottish Breakfast to fluffy Pancakes with Blueberries and Belgian Chocolate, locally caught Scrabster Haddock and Hand-cut Chips to our very own home reared, farm to table Highland Beef Burgers. Plus with a daily specials board, kids' menu and gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available, there's something here to please everyone!
If its a coffee and cake fix you're after then look no further, we serve some of the finest barista coffees and tastiest home bakes in the North! Try one of our fresh baked cream and jam scones washed down with a smooth flat white or a homemade meringue and summer berries with a rich, strong americano. Or, if coffee isn't your thing, we also serve a selection of TeaPigs herbal teas and Body, Mind and Soul cannabis tea.
Once you're all fed and watered have a mosey around our Farm Shop food hall and gift shop. We stock artisan and craft products from both local producers and those further afield. Whether it's a cuddly toy highland coo or a bottle of locally distilled gin you're looking for you'll find it at Puldagon!
Our Farm is around 60 acres of peaceful Caithness countryside on which we have a flock of North Country Cheviot sheep and a small herd of Highland cows. We also have a few rare breeds such as our Soay sheep and our latest addition Queenie the Clysdesdale (along with her wee buddy Eddie the Shetland Pony). On top of that we are currently building up our flock of the ever so gorgeous Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep, so keep an eye out for their super cute lambs!
All this will be topped off with the fantastic, friendly service you'll receive from our awesome team of staff. A warm welcome always awaits you!
(Please note, as we are a working farm access to the farm and animals will always be at our discretion. For your safety and the safety of our animals, please always seek permission from staff first.)
