The very best of Scotland's larder
We are very proud of our Scottish larder and this is reflected in our seasonal a la carte menu. At Rufflets we look to use only the best local food producers to help create dishes which highlight the fantastic ingredients found in Fife and Scotland.
Our beef and pork is sourced from some of the best farms across Scotland by John Henderson Meat Specialists in Glenrothes. Fish and seafood come from Campbell’s Prime Meat Ltd based in Linlithgow and Andy “the scallop man” provides us with the finest hand-dived king scallops from the West Coast of Scotland. Mark Murphy & Partner Ltd supply premium quality fruit and vegetables and Lochgelly’s Keith McGregor takes care of our dairy requirements. Award winning artisan breads are delivered daily from the East Neuk of Fife by Barnett’s Bakery, and Wild Tastes Ltd from Kirkcaldy open up their van for my chefs to select some fabulous artisan ingredients including local cheeses.
We can also boast “zero food miles” for the herbs, vegetables and soft fruits grown in our grounds at Rufflets and my brigade work with our gardener, Phil Harper, to supply the kitchen with a range of fresh produce all year round.
Combined with excellent service and an award winning wine list, we know that you will enjoy your meal.
