Stravaigin is a long-established restaurant with Eastern influences. The daily menu incorporates seasonal produce as it is available. House specialties include award-winning haggis, locally sourced meat, and straight-from-the-boat seafood.
"In a class of its own" this is the home of informal dining in the city.
Stravaigin has won a raft of awards over the last 20 years but they never appear to take themselves too seriously, regardless of their ongoing Bib Gourmand award from the Michelin Guide!
The menus are a mirror image of whats seasonally available. Wild foods abound in Stravaigin. Chantrelles, wild garlic or mackerel in this place are as likely to have been brought in by the chefs as ordered from a supplier. Not to mention the off grid ingredients like rook, squirrel or "Glasgow escargot"
Stravaigin happily wears its culinary credentials firmly on its sleeve!
