Established in 1779, The Fox & Hounds is the pub of choice for Real Ale and Whisky connoisseurs. This lovely venue offers customers a choice of two bars and a stunning restaurant in which to enjoy their stay.

With two different bars and the Stables restaurant, the venue has an ambience to suit every occasion.
Looking for a traditional pub? The "Vixen's Bar" provides a cosy fire-side setting on a cold winter's day. Enjoy a wee dram from our selection of 130 whiskies or a pint of hand drawn real ale. Or alternatively bring your dog in after a long walk and relax with coffee and cake.
The "Hunter's Bar" has a more modern feel and is located upstairs. It offers a range of spirits, beers and cocktails and is the setting for the weekly Games Nights and Quiz.
The stunning "Stables Restaurant", with its high ceiling and wooden beams provides the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable lunch or dinner. Enjoy an excellent fillet steak or would you prefer a more simple Mac & Cheese? The restaurant can also be booked in its entirety for a private function, such as a wedding or christening.
