The Gourmet's Lair, throughout its history, has remained a family-owned Delicatessen business. Currently run by Maureen & Callum, we pride ourselves on being a working deli, not an expensive gift shop. We see ourselves as firmly routed in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland - we understand the Geography and distributing perishable goods, we like to think we understand people's tastes in the area, and pride ourselves in going that little step extra... Oh, and having an extensive range of delights for the tastebuds!
The finest and widest choice of cheese in the Highlands (many matured on, plus Scottish cheeses), a superb range of olives, charcuterie (salami's, hams, pâté, wild boar, venison, rare breed hen's eggs...oh, and tastings of the famous Haggis herd's that roam windspept hill and heather..), coffee, and accompanying ingredients. And, dare I say it (being a lad from Lankyshire where Black Puddin' s King), the finest Pud outside the Motherland - Charly Barley's from Stornoway!
