The Oystercatcher is a very special place, found at the end of a long and twisty shore road, that is part of the Argyll Secret coast. It's the secret coast for a reason, with gorgeous views of Loch Fyne, a wee beach just outside, Loch Fyne Seafood from local fishermen who've fished the loch for generations now, and beautiful local suppliers for all our fantastic meats.
The Oystercatcher is a traditional black and white building, on the shores of Loch Fyne, with a cosy bar & warm inviting restaurant, we are also dog friendly throughout. We pride ourselves on the fact, that during our short time here we have had the privilege of being awarded two Good Food Guide Awards (Local Gem & 100 best restaurants in the UK) and the fantastic Taste Our Best Award from Visit Scotland, we are more than grateful for the lovely people that have voted for us to achieve these awards.
The Local community in Otter Ferry is beyond anything that you have come across before, they have offered us support from the moment we arrived and we are so grateful to have them here.
Our wee team consists of 4 core team we have throughout the year (plus our 3 lovely dogs), this does mean that booking is strongly recommended as you may be unable to get a seat otherwise! During the summer we have some fab young and enthusiastic students that come back year after year to support us.
If you would like to join us for some delicious seafood and stunning fresh fish from the Loch or some scrummy local meats, made by our fantastic kitchen team and served by our amazing front of house, in a cosy setting give us a call at 01700 821 229.
