Following the Scottish Government announcement that mainland Scotland is to move into COVID protection level 4 from 26 December, the Scottish Seabird Centre is temporarily closed to the public until further notice. We look forward to welcoming you back when it is safe to do so.

The Seabird Café boasts East Lothian's only seaside sun deck, with stunning views out to the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock, the world's largest colony of Northern gannets.

In the Seabird Café there are are range of snacks, main meals, cakes and hot drinks - with something for all ages and tastes. Everything is prepared by the Centre's Head Chef using locally-sourced produce wherever possible. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menu.
The Café has been recognised by VisitScotland's Quality Assurance Scheme, Taste Our Best.
We have simplified our menu and increased our cleaning regimes throughout the Centre.
The toilets are limited to one household group at a time and a key can be requested from our information desk.
The Scottish Seabird Centre is a casual place for all the family to enjoy lunch or a light snack. There is an ample range on the menu to suit all, and visitors can enjoy a panaromic view both indoors and outdoors of the sea view.
