7 Ecosse was established by Guy Halley and is conveniently based in Crieff, right in the heart of Scotland. We are under an hour’s drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and are surrounded by several luxury hotels, including Gleneagles, Cromlix, Crieff Hydro and Ballathie House.
Guy was born and bred with a love of cars. From a young age, Guy raced go-karts, quickly becoming Scottish Kart Champion. Guy swiftly progressed to racing Caterhams at national level, securing the British Caterham Champion title shortly afterwards.
Despite further forays into rallying in a Mark II Escort and the Mull Rally, Guy was bitten by the Caterham bug. He has latterly instructed track days at Ingliston in some of the most expensive supercars in the world, however still maintains that the Caterham provides the most realistic, exhilarating and affordable driving experience money can buy.
The Halley family have had a lifelong passion for motorsports – our cars are maintained by Guy’s father, Willie Halley, who raced Mk II Escorts and dabbles in some Caterham racing himself.
Our inside out knowledge of the Caterham coupled with living in a country home to some of the most unrivalled scenery and roads gives a motoring experience like no other.
This, of course, is our opinion...why not give it a try and see for yourself, you’re bound to leave with a smile on your face and a spring in your step!
