Above Adventure is a charity based in Kilmarnock bringing the sport of climbing to all. We have a state-of-the art climbing centre with roped climbing, a bouldering hall and a cafe located in a converted former church in the town centre.

Above Adventure will open the doors to a state-of-art climbing centre in February 2023. The former Grange Church on Woodstock Street, in which the Centre is based, has benefited from over £4.3 million of complex renovation, conservation and construction work. Following a nine year fundraising, planning and construction journey, the Above Adventure team look forward to welcoming climbers, families, fitness enthusiasts and even those who have never climbed before – from all over Scotland and beyond. The centre consists of a roped climbing arena, a bouldering hall and a café offering hot and cold refreshments. The charity are fully committed to their outreach programme and are keen to develop this further now the centre is complete, welcoming groups from all areas and communities.
