Active 4 Seasons offers Made to Measure guided adventures and coaching using open canoe, river or sea kayak. We have been based in North Northumberland for more than 20 years and regularly use the amazing River Tweed and its tributaries.

Active 4 Seasons has been operating in the fantastic North Northumberland and Scottish Borders area for over 20 years offering mainly Made to Measure Guided trips and coaching in open canoes, river kayaks and sea kayaks. We also offer single pitch rock climbing.

Ollie Jay - your host has worked in the outdoor industry since qualifying as a teacher of Outdoor Education in 1997.

We have a wide range of craft from 3 seater open canoes, river kayaks for river play and cross over kayaks for touring, we also have a wide range of specialist sea kayaks both single and a couple of doubles. We also have racing ski's and specialist surf kayaks. We can deliver coaching in any of the above craft to most levels, improving your personal technique or fitness!

We have the benefit of a fantastic stretch of coastline for sea kayak work and amazing Rivers for the other aspects.

Ollie has a great deal of knowledge of the environment and loves to pass on his knowledge of the local fauna and flora. Check out his Facebook page for pics of activities and adventures by previous clients.

We don't throw you in a large group of people who have different abilities we carefully select our adventures to suit your experience and objectives.
