Outer Hebridean Way
On the very edge of Europe, cycling 185 miles through ten islands over six causeways and using two ferries.
From the south of the island of Vatersay to the Butt of Lewis you will experience the purest of Atlantic fresh air with some of the quietest and most rural roads to be found in the UK.
Travelling with AMS Outdoors from the edge of Glasgow to Oban, where we catch a Calmac Ferry to Barra and have an overnight stay in Barra to start this wonderful expedition to following morning.
A full four days of independent cycling with full AMS Outdoors Minibus and Bike Trailer Support to call on. The final day will see you end this route at the Butt of Lewis and no doubt sample a dram or two!
The return to Glasgow starts early on the last morning with a Calmac Ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool in far North Western Scotland with an AMS Outdoors minibus transfer back to Glasgow. This will undeniably be a holiday of the decade.

From the capital of the Highlands, Inverness commands some of the most breathtaking and rugged of landscapes that Scotland has to offer.
Just over 500 miles of truly cycling excellence. Carefully arranged over the course of eight days, you will travel along this courageous route sampling whisky, blonde beaches, standing stones, safe in the knowledge of the full support of the AMS Outdoors Minibus and Bike Trailer as back-up.
Every day will be different averaging over 50 miles per day. Independently travelling with knowing someone has your back will let you delight in this lands rugged sharp edge. Fitness levels should be extremely high to allow you to enjoy every day on your bike. Luggage will also be transported daily to your next accommodation.
