Based in the beautiful surroundings of St Fillans, Perthshire, Aquila Ecology offers customer focused wildlife tours, walks, training and advice.
Our guided walks and tours are tailored to clients' needs, so you can oick one of our recommended tours or we can build an itinierary for you based on your “wish list”. We provide experiences throughout Perthshire, but with particular focus on the area surrounding St Fillans in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park where the company is based.
We have lived and worked in the area for nearly ten years and during this time we have completed professional and voluntary surveys for many different species from Golden Eagles to Water Voles. That’s how we are able to deliver knowledgeable and enjoyable tours and walks around the area – and we’re friendly too!
Our local area boasts a wide variety of wildlife as well as stunning scenery as we are fortunate to be surrounded by lochs and rivers, mountains, moors and woods which all provide homes for a huge array of charismatic species. Some of the species you could expect to see on a guided tour or walk include: Golden Eagles, Hen Harriers, Red Kites, Feral Goats, Red Deer, Ring Ouzels, Ospreys and Red Squirrels to name but a few.
