The museum covers virtually all aspects of traditional rural life in highland Atholl. Three small galleries plus a reconstructed post office and an audio-visual display offer a unique insight into the Blair Atholl community. There's a reconstruction of a stable, a smiddy, a byre, a typical blackhouse interior, costumes, farm implements, a cruck frame and displays on the railway, the development of the A9 and insights into professions like cobblers, vets, gamekeepers and so on. There are changing themed displays every season. Small admission charges apply.
