Beecraigs is 370 hectares of exciting and beautiful Country Park. You’ll find it nestled high in the Bathgate Hills near the historic town of Linlithgow.
Beecraigs is the largest of West Lothian's 3 Country Parks and offers miles of woodland paths and trails to explore by foot, bike or horse as well as a wide range of leisure and recreational opportunities. The Ranger Service provides advice and a whole programme of events and activities, you can visit the Animal Attraction and spot the Red Deer, Highland and Belted Galloway Cattle and Hebridean/Shetland/North Ronaldsay Sheep or take a stroll around Beecraigs Loch. There’s an adventure play area to enjoy, a skills area to master your mountain bike on as well as bike trails across the Park, an orienteering course to navigate and the pioneering and target archery courses are available to hire. Make a day of it and hire a BBQ area in the summer or, if you’d like to stay longer, why not check into the Caravan & Camping Site or hire a Beecraigs' glamping Little Lodge.
The Visitor Centre offers information, gifts, refreshments, confectionary, ice-cream and cafe as well as free wifi and public internet computer.. There is also a meeting room available for hire (with outdoor decking & picnic tables). Booking for all facilities and activities can be made through the Visitor Centre, with the exception of Beecraigs Fishery which can be booked by calling 01506 846679.
The Park is open throughout the year and admission is free. Beecraigs' sister Parks are Polkemmet Country Park near Whitburn and Almondell & Calderwood Country Park near Broxburn.
