We provide small-group guided tours of a WW2 RADAR filter bunker. The building was renovated (Nuclear, Biological and Chemically hardened) in the late 80s as part of the Cold War build up.

Step back in time and experience the strategic Radar filter room surrounded by authentic artefacts and immersive exhibits.

Whether you are a history enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out,
the bunker offers a journey through time and a glimpse of the stories that shaped history.

Guided tours can cover the WW2 use of the bunker, the cold-war era, and the local council use of the building as an Emergency Response Centre.

Exhibits - not encased in glass - reconstruct the manner in which RADAR signals were processed during WW2. Handle authentic Lancaster bomber navigation aids, appreciate the 1930s technology then current as British RADAR was being developed.
