Bonhoga Gallery at Weisdale Mill is a fantastic visual and applied art gallery in Shetland owned and operated by Shetland Arts Development Agency. Opened in 1994 and located in a beautifully restored mill, Bonhoga Gallery holds a varied programme of local, national and international art and craft exhibitions.
The cafe is located in the south-facing conservatory on the lower ground floor with stunning views overlooking Kergord Burn. It is a popular place with the local Shetland population and visitors to the islands. We serve a selection of delicious fresh food, much of which is locally produced and (this includes arguably the best scones in Shetland) is complimented by a tempting range of teas, coffees and soft drinks.
Visitors should also take the time to wander around the gallery shop, which is stocked with an ever changing array of design-led goods, cards, books and an inspiring range of handmade papers.
