A haven of peace and tranquillity within walking distance of Perth city centre, it contains a wonderful collection of rare species, exotic plants and curious cultivars for you to spot.
Today, gardeners and botanists come from across the globe to admire Branklyn’s outstanding collection, particularly the rhododendrons, alpines and peat-garden plants. It also holds several National Collections of plants, including Meconopsisand Cassiope.
The garden is predominantly a collection of plants from China, Tibet, Bhutan and the Himalayas. There is an impressive collection of original plants collected by famous plant collecting team Ludlow and Sheriff.
Purchase gifts, gardening books and plants, including a selection of unusual alpines, perennials and bulbs, in the shop. Enjoy a coffee, available from the shop, sitting on one of the many benches dotted throughout the garden.
