Today, gardeners and botanists come from across the globe to admire Branklyn’s outstanding collection, particularly the rhododendrons, alpines, herbaceous plants and the Woodland. It also holds several National Collections of plants, including Meconopsis, Rhododendron (Taliense section) and Cassiope.
The garden is tastefully laid out with an amazing diversity of plants, many introduced from China, Tibet, Bhutan and the Himalayas. There is an impressive collection of original material planted by the Rentons, collected by famous plant collecting team Ludlow and Sherriff.
Purchase gifts, seeds and plants, including a selection of unusual alpines, perennials and bulbs, in the shop. Enjoy a tea or coffee and a delicious, freshly home-baked scone in our tearoom or on the terrace overlooking the garden
