Duddingston Golf Club is perhaps Edinburgh's Best Kept Secret - alongside Dr Neil's Garden and the Sheep Heid in our Conservation Village! The course will challenge and delight in equal measure. Designed by James Baird, it has nurtured golfing excellence for well over a hundred years. Our parkland course is an outstanding 'Feast for the Eyes'. The Braid Burn snakes through every varied hole, offering delightful vistas, including our signature hole (Temple) through to the 18th, where Mary Queen of Scot's Palace at Craigmillar is in full view. The course was created from the Duke of Abercorn's deer park and pleasure gardens of Duddingston House (circa 1763). Mine Host at our modern Clubhouse offers a warm welcome and our Club Professional, Stuart Wilson and his team provide a range of expert services. You may even get a wee sight of free-roaming deer! Come and join us at the sunny side of Arthur's Seat!
