Dundee Waterfront Walks
Fully guided (and fun) Dundee history walks. From the volcanic formation of Dundee Law, to wars, disasters and happier events which have affected our city. The story is often sad, sometimes amusing, but ALWAYS fascinating!
You will encounter dreadful rogues, awful (but much loved) poets and some true heroes. Amongst the tales, you will hear of ferocious battles, escaped/ shopping polar bears, terrible disasters and decorated fighting Norwegian sea-dog. You certainly won`t forget your visit to Dundee.
Tours will go ahead irrespective of the weather. Please do take care to dress accordingly - we are situated at the Tay estuary , leading to the North Sea. Dundee is, however, the SUNNIEST city in Scotland . Yes really.
Concessions and Family tickets are available. Please go to our website for full details of all tours and their costs, which vary. PRIVATE TOURS may be booked by arrangement. Please email to make a request. All booking is securely online and no refunds are given, sorry.
Meet in front of RRS Discovery for Discovery Point /general tour, at Howff Graveyard (Central Dundee) for the Howff Graveyard Tour, at the foot of the Broughty Castle drawbridge for the Ancient Broughty Ferry tour including the little known Fisher graveyard and at the fountains in Dundee City Square for the Turbulent History tour.
