Edinburgh Hebrew Congregation (EHC) is a vibrant and welcoming orthodox Jewish community in Edinburgh.
Our synagogue in the heart of Edinburgh has contributed to the life of the city for over 200 years. All Jewish visitors to Edinburgh of any level of observance are most welcome to join our services; please contact us in advance. We also offer Shabbat hospitality and kosher meals and can advise on the availability of kosher groceries in Edinburgh.
Our beautiful building dates from 1932, was designed by one of Scotland’s leading architects and houses some wonderful stained glass windows. We offer tours of the building including a presentation on the history of the community to Jewish and non - Jewish visitors; please visit our website and complete the form there.
