The Edinburgh Marine Academy offers all types of Powerboating activity, from exhilarating experience trips under the Forth Bridges, to training courses and private skippered boat charter for those special occasions.
All levels and abilities are catered for, from the half day 'Introduction to Powerboating' for those people who would like to learn to drive a powerboat under the supervision of an Instructor, to two day RYA certified courses after which you are able to drive a boat by yourself.
If enjoying the scenery is more your thing then we offer fast boat trips in the Firth of Forth, leaving from Edinburgh or South Queensferry during which you can see the three Forth Bridges, stop for lunch at one of the shore side pubs, or see the seals and puffins on the numerous islands in the Forth. All our boat trips are highly individual and personalised, so please let us know if you have any particular requests or requirements
We are also able to offer private boat charter with a skipper for anyone who would like to gift a boat experience for a special occasion such as a birthday party or event.
All waterproof clothing and flotation devices are supplied, and all our Skippers are highly experienced and knowledgeable RYA qualified powerboat Instructors.
