Eigg Adventures provide bike and kayak hire on the wild and beautiful Isle of Eigg. The dramatic scenery and wildlife of Eigg has captivated visitors for generations, and we can help you explore the island on a modern bike or kayak.

Cycling is a great way to get around the Isle of Eigg as visitors are not permitted to bring vehicles to our island, and there’s so much to explore on Eigg that sometimes walking just isn’t fast enough!
With one paved single track road across the island and very few vehicles, Eigg is a very safe place to cycle and it’s difficult to get lost. There are also a number of great off road tracks to explore, which will take you to some of the most stunning locations on the island. We stock mountain, hybrid and e-bikes which are modern, clean, well maintained and reasonably priced.

Take a spin on one of our bikes and discover the beautiful beaches of Laig Bay and Singing Sands, or ride out to the breathtakingly beautiful former township of Grulin to take in the spectacular views South. We stock bikes for adults and children of all sizes, and provide sanitised helmets with every hire. When you arrive on Eigg we'll get you fitted for your bike, give you a full safety/instructional briefing and talk you through the map of Eigg to help you get the most out of your bike hire.

If you want to experience Eigg from the water, then our fleet of sit-on kayaks are perfect for exploring the beautiful bays of Galmisdale and Kildonan. We provide paddles, leashes, buoyancy aids and dry bags for hires of 2 or 4 hours.

Seeing Eigg from the water gives a totally unique perspective, and we are very fortunate to have an abundance of wildlife in and around our waters which include; Dolphns, Seals Porpoise, Minke Whales, Basking Sharks, Eagles, Great Skuas and much much more.
