Welcome to Dalhousie Castle Falconry! Join us for an exciting day of flying beautiful birds or prey to your gloved hand, or why not test your skills with some archery with recurve bows? Packages available for adults and children.

Welcome to Dalhousie Castle Falconry! Set in the magnificent grounds of Dalhousie Castle Hotel in Bonnyrigg, we offer falconry and archery experiences in a peaceful and beautiful countryside setting.

We house a collection of 30 beautiful birds who enjoy taking part in our hands on experiences. Our experiences last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours and we have activities for both adults and children from ages 4 and up. Our prices range from £25 to £95 for individual experiences and we would be delighted to help you find the best package for your needs!

We are also pleased to offer archery sessions with our archery leaders. Our archery sessions are available for adults and children from ages 8 and up.

As well as our experience packages for individuals we provide a range of services for weddings, including our famous Owl Wedding Ring Delivery service, and for corporate or tour groups.

Visitors are more than welcome to come and visit the birds in the mews without any need for an appointment. Viewing the birds is free of charge though a small donation towards the upkeep is greatly appreciated.
