Fife Folk Museum was founded in 1968, and has expanded several times since then. Its collections are wide-ranging, covering every aspect of the daily life of everyone from the humblest cottager to the owners and servants in large houses, not only indoors, but in the garden, on the farm, and travelling around the countryside. The objects range in size from dolls’ house furnishings to bicycles, horse-drawn carts and an impressive Blacksmiths display; there are amazing costumes, china and glass, kitchen utensils, dolls and toys, farm implements, weights and measures and old photographs. After looking around the museum and gift shop with its range of handcrafted items, you can visit the Bishops Bridge Tearoom and enjoy mouthwatering home baking and delicious soup and sandwiches. A range of Vegan, Vegetarian and gluten free products will be available also plant milks. Our four legged friends are not forgotten, they can look forward to their own doggie biscuits and canine ice cream. The tearoom will be open from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm Wednesday to Sunday
