Our building
Our innovative building design contributes vastly to our green credentials, built using granite found on the original site and Scotlarch sourced within 100 miles of Russwood's Highland Sawmill. We have a heat recovery system which recycles existing "waste" heat so successfully that it provides all heating and hot water and we use renewable energy for electricity which gives us a 100% zero-carbon emission status.
Awards
In our first year of trading we are delighted to report that we have not only achieved a Gold Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme and a 4 star status from The Scottish Tourist Board, we where recently crowned “Scottish Champion” in the Countryside Alliance Award for Best Rural Start Up in Scotland.
