Foxlake Adventures is home to Scotland's first Cable Wakeboard Park and the UK's only ropes course over water.
Located 25 miles East of Edinburgh, nestled in beautiful woodland on the edge of the John Muir Park with direct links to the John Muir Coastal Trail. Whether you want to give wakeboarding a crack, experience FoxFall ropes course or grab some food from our award winning Boardside Cafe and chill on the lake side, Foxlake has something for you.
Foxlake has two stright line wake boarding cables, suitable for the absolute beginner to the advanced rider. Wakeboarding sessions are run on a one to one basis with one of our fully trained Instructors. Cable Wakeboarding is so progressive to learn, that we offer a money back guarentee if you do not get out the water on your first attempt. In addition to Wakeboarding you can try our Ringo Rides which are large inflatables that are tow up and down the lake at high speed for groups of 6-10 people, this is an ideal finish to a session on the Foxfall ropes course for some more extra fun. (Minimum age 6yrs)
Foxfall ropes Course sessions run on the hour for 50 minutes and great for families, individuals and large groups alike,with a maximum of 24 people in one session. The course has Green, Blue, Red and Black runs so there is a route for everyone and all abilities. The course finishes with a blast down the zip wires where you are guarenteed to finish with a big Splash! (Minimum age is 6yrs, minimum height 1.2m)
If getting wet is not for you why not try our Segway Experience. We have a fleet of six Segways and the sessions involve 20 mins of training before heading out on the trail around our stunning site and down to the edge of the John Muir Counrty Park. If you are 10-65 years old and would be prepared to go on a mountain bike then Segways are for you, a perfect way to explore Foxlake with a bunch of friends or family.
From beginner riders to elite athletes, we are here to offer this new sport of wakeboarding to all levels of ability. We offer a wide range of sessions and programmes from casual Pay&Wake or Learn to Wake sessions, right the way through to our development programme the Wake Academy, we are here to provide sport for all. FoxFall ropes course is fully inclusive and open to absolutely all abilities and ages so why not get down and try it for yourself!
