Known locally as the ‘The Harray Potter’, Andrew Appleby produces a marvelous array of hand-thrown pots and ceramics at Fursbreck Pottery. Drawing inspiration from the ruggedly beautiful Orcadian landscape and its rich mythology, Andrew’s creations range from distinctive tableware including tea pots, jugs, mugs, beakers and goblets, all of which are dishwasher and microwave proof, to replica prehistoric pots. Andrew also teaches classes which offer an excellent introduction to the art of pottery.
