Enjoy a treasure house of transport history at the Grampian Transport Museum.
Follow the history of travel and transport in the north east of Scotland through dramatic displays, working exhibits and DVD presentations.
The Grampian Transport Museum is a living museum of land travel and transport. A visit includes climb aboard vehicle exhibits, extensive use of video and some great temporary exhibitions.
There is also an exciting events programme, where you can experience rides on a road circuit in a wide range of historic and modern vehicles.
We are closed for the winter season but will be reopening on Friday 30th March 2018.
We are currently working on several new exhibtions for 2018, these include the stop-start story of the electric car a look at the history of Grampians roads.
Over the past few years, friend of the museum, Guy Martin, has very kindly loaned us several items from his personal collection. Looking ahead to 2018, we are in talks with him to bring our visitors an excited and renewed 'Guy Martin Collection'
