The Griselda Hill Pottery lies in the heart of rural Fife, Scotland, in the village of Ceres, ten miles west of St. Andrews. It includes a visitor centre and shop.
Since 1985 the pottery has developed a beautiful range of 'Wemyss Ware'. As with the early 'Wemyss Ware', the success of the Griselda Hill Pottery is based on the quality of the hand painting and the beauty of the colours.
We use the original under-glaze technique and because everything is hand painted, each item is unique.
Our method of production also means that we can execute special orders decorated to the customer's specification. Every piece of pottery is made here on the premises.
Following government guidance we have installed screens at our till area and have a sanitizing station at the door which we would encourage you to use for everyone's health and safety. We are also asking for only one party to enter the shop at one time to allow for sufficient social distancing with face masks mandatory in all shops for staff and customers.
How to reach us: From Cupar Railway Station - go left past Reekies. Veer left at junction for Ceres. Once in Ceres drive through the village to Meldrums Hotel. Turn left and veer to your right.
