Highland Quietlife Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-yoku is the practice of reconnecting with nature and yourself. During your fully guided session, your qualified guide will help you do this through a series of gentle meditations aimed at each of your senses.
During a Forest Bathing session, you can expect to be out for about 1 & ½ – 2 hours, as I guide you through a series of invitations aimed at opening each of your senses and reconnecting you with yourself and the environment around you. You can expect to walk up to 1 mile, although our pace is very slow, there are also all abilities sessions available where we operate from one spot and if you don’t want to walk, you can sit in the one spot for the whole session.
Throughout our time together, we spend time sharing what we are noticing to the group and finish with a traditional tea ceremony to bring our experience to a close and thank the land we have been supported by during the session.
Highland Quietlife also offers sunrise and full moon Forest Bathing sessions to bring a new element to the awakening of our senses.
Forest Bathing is suitable for all ages and all ability sessions available.
