Based at Kincraig, 7 miles south of Aviemore, the Highland Wildlife Park is a great day out for all ages. Discover the amazing variety of wildlife found in present day Scotland, such as the pine marten, wildcat and red deer - then step back in time and meet the creatures of Scotland's past - wolves, lynx, beavers and wild horses.
Owned by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, the park has expanded its species collection to fulfil its mission in conservation and now provides a home to rare animals of the world's mountains and tundra regions. Meet our amazing Amur tigers, snow monkeys, red pandas, Bactrian camels and our polar bears. Come and see Victoria, the only female polar bear in Scotland, our two males Arktos and Walker, and Hamish, the first polar bear cub to be born in the UK for 25 years.
Drive around the Main Reserve in your own vehicle and then explore the rest of the Park on foot. We have daily feeding talks where you can join one of the animal keepers and find out more about our animals. We also run Landrover Tours of the Main Reserve which can be booked on arrival in our shop.
Prebooking is essential from June 2020 to comply with Scottish Government guidelines.
