Established in 1982 by Douglas Wilson and Julie Snowdon, the Iceberg Glass Blowing Studio is situated in the small village of Fort Augustus near to where the Caledonian Canal enter the west end of Loch Ness. Using borosilicate glass heated over a propane or oxygen flame, Douglas and Julie are able to fashion a stunning array of decorative objects including jewellery, hanging vases, candle-holders, Christmas decorations and ornamental thistles, cats and Loch Ness Monsters.
