Invergarry & Fort Augustus Railway Museum
Railway museum based on history of Invergarry & Fort Augustus railway
The station is being restored from being over run with vegetation to a working unit. Some track has been laid with a extension currently being worked on at the east end of the platform. A historic carriage shed is due to be erected on the site in 2017 and the main replica station building in 2018/19, Currently the only locomotive on site is a Ruston diesel shunter built 1947.
From May to September 2017 guided tours are being offered on the 1st sunday of the month at 12 noon and 2pm. There will also be demonstrations on the running line.
This is a community project, totally run by volunteers.
