From the base on the south end of the Isle of Skye, the Outer Hebrides are easy to reach and, if the weather permits, St Kilda is accessible in a one week cruise. Most people visiting the area for the first time would plan a trip around Skye but parties with more time to spare can extend their cruise to Orkney and Shetland or even go south as far as Ireland. Delightful cruising is also available along the north west coast of Scotland.
