Dunfermline and West Fife's very own Heritage Railway project, Lathalmond Railway Museum is located to the north of Dunfermline, on a shared site with the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum. With 2 operational railway lines operating Sundays 13th June until 3rd October.
Shed47 Railway Restoration Group started the project in 1997, housed in the original WW2 Royal Navy loco shed, and over the past 21 years have been rebuilding a small section of the once vast railway system in the former RNSD Lathalmond site. Visit and find out all about the Dunfermline area's rich railway heritage, see the projects we are working on and travel on our 2 short railway lines, view our museum displays and on special days see our weighbridge and model railway too.
