Ledmore and Keanchulish is a family owned estate set amongst the dramatic scenery of the north west Highlands of Scotland. We have some spectacular fishing to offer whether it be for wild brown trout, ferox or salmon and sea trout.
The estate is renowned throughout the western Highlands for its superb and challenging wild brown trout fishing on three of the most stunning lochs in Scotland (Lochs Veyatie, Cam and Urigill). Boats and outboards are available to hire.
We also offer salmon and sea trout fishing on our spate river which runs through striking mountain scenery down to the sea. The River Kanaird is located just a few miles north of Ullapool, and offers challenging fly fishing for both salmon and sea trout. The river is a classic West Coast spate river originating in the hills of west Sutherland and flowing into Ardmair Bay via Loch Kanaird. The Keanchulish beats occupy 4 miles of double bank fishing on the lower river before it enters Loch Kanaird. Also included is the tributary, the river Runie.
Also available is a wonderful newly refurbished 3 bedroom cottage to rent. With a beautiful sea view, it is perfect for walkers, fisherman, stalking parties and families. It can comfortably sleep 5 people and is conveniently situated close to Ullapool.
